Service Description
Up to 4 hours of trauma‑informed preparation and real‑time grounding so you can communicate clearly, stay regulated, organized, use your attorney’s time strategically, and stay steady in high‑conflict hearings.
Cancellation Policy
Day‑of‑court support offers emotional regulation tools, practical preparation, and real‑time coaching before, between, and immediately after your hearing. This service is educational and coaching‑based and is not a substitute for legal advice, mental health treatment, or emergency services. Scope of service Support may include grounding techniques, clarifying priorities, organizing questions for your attorney, rehearsing key points, and brief post‑hearing debriefs. Services do not include legal advice, interpreting court orders, speaking for you in court, or contacting the court, your attorney, or the other party on your behalf. You remain fully responsible for your legal strategy and all statements and actions you take in or related to court. Format, location, and fees Support may be provided by phone or video, and in‑person accompaniment when arranged in advance. In‑person support is observational and coaching‑oriented only and does not create an attorney‑client or therapist‑client relationship. In‑person day‑of‑court support is available only in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the East Bay, North Bay, San Francisco, and Contra Costa County courthouses and nearby locations. The in‑person day‑of‑court package is priced at 1,111 USD for up to four consecutive hours at court for a single hearing date. This rate covers the reserved time block only and does not include travel, tolls, or parking. Reasonable travel and parking costs for your courthouse will be added to the total and disclosed in advance whenever possible. Overtime and schedule changes Court delays are common. Time beyond the initial four‑hour in‑person block, if available, will be billed at an additional hourly rate and must be agreed to before continuing; overtime availability is not guaranteed. Day‑of‑court support must be booked in advance for a specific hearing date and time block (for example, morning or afternoon). Payment is due in full at booking and is generally non‑refundable because time is reserved specifically for your hearing. If your hearing is continued or rescheduled, reasonable efforts will be made to move your booking, subject to availability; if rescheduling is not possible, any credit or refund is at the practice’s discretion. Confidentiality and safety Information shared in coaching is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law, court order, or imminent risk of harm.
